We are officially in the season of autumn; the portal into the darkness. There are so many amazing lessons and realizations that come through our night vision, supporting us in seeing and understanding the gifts within the shadows.

Some Call It Spooky Season...

Eh. Like all things, it depends on how we choose to see and how we translate what is seen. Perception can be blurred if we try to see through the lens of summer. Again, it's time to embrace night vision for the teachings of autumn and winter. Here's a quick overview of what we will be invited to acknowledge:

One of the things I love most about Reiki is that it’s practiced globally, uniting many of us in an awareness of ONE, that may have been overlooked otherwise. Last month you were encouraged to nurture the seeds of creation, and now Leo will support your outward expression, bringing your inner-world into manifest! In this energy, you may feel inspired to shine and share your ideas with anyone who’s willing to listen, but if you’re only motivated by validation from others, you may find yourself a wounded lion, licking your wounds.

Being ruled by the sun, Leo wants to be seen. Is there any possible way to ignore the sun? Only in hiding, but there is nothing to fear when you believe in YOU, as lions do. What if you could accomplish anything just by validating yourself? It’s more than possible, and with a bit of humility, you will also find that sharing the light won’t dull your magnificence. Mindfulness Coaching for Children

How many times have you imagined the world changing because of the youth becoming more exposed to mindfulness? Children seem to be more sensitive, empathic and many are being raised by parents who are working through their own energetic alchemy.And let’s be honest, these kids have recently gone through an unusual, stressful experience. Fortunately, the same tools you use can support children, but may have to be explained and expressed to them in different ways.

Claudia Torres is a mindfulness teacher and podcaster. She has been practicing mindfulness and yoga for over fifteen years, and created Presently Aqui with Claudia, a mindfulness podcast, featuring a diverse community of healers. Claudia also founded, Our Mindful Kids, an online mindfulness and meditation school for children, aged 7-12. Energy of the Month, July 2023 | Nurturing Inner-Most Self

Summer is meant for flinging! No, not just as in a “summer fling”, but tossing aside anything that no longer nurtures our spirits. Half of the year has gone, and this is a time of reevaluation. Fortunately, the sign of Cancer invites us back into Mama Earth’s womb, swimming in the oceans of emotion and creation. What inhibits your flow and what inspires you?

This month is also about feeling at home. They say home is where the heart is, so consider what it would feel like to make yourself at home in your heart. How can you nurture yourself so deeply, acknowledging your own needs and wants, that you feel love radiating from every aspect of your being? Allow yourself to feel so good that it feels like home no matter where you are!

If emotions are stuck, try some movement, like yoga or dancing wildly in your living room. If your emotions are erratic, release with passion! Try journaling or some other form of artistic expression. This month is all about what moves you…what feeds your soul and nurtures the air of your existence.

And we can’t access the sign of Cancer without considering family connections. Regardless of what you may feel about your family, beyond hurt and disappointments, can you see how you are exactly where you are meant to be because of that foundation? And family is not always biological, sometimes they are chosen, but they are your family, nonetheless. The key, though, will be to acknowledge how your family connections have influenced who you are today. Give thanks for the exchanges that have made you stronger, the lessons that have supported your growth and the love that extends the reach of all other emotions and experiences.

Being ruled by the moon, Cancer also reminds us to honor the Divine Feminine, the Goddess in all living things. Remember that your abilities to feel and create are powerful! The key will be mindfulness of what you’re creating. What you feel and believe are the seeds of that which you are manifesting now. Are you creating from LOVE or hurt? Heal and forgive, then create, consciously, for the journey that awaits at your feet.

Cancerian Gift: May you feel brave and proud in the face of your emotions, bearing your heart and your soul for the moon to illuminate, reflecting back your inherent beauty. May you feel the love of divine mother; nurturing you with each breath you take, reminding you that home is always exactly where you exist. You need to do nothing more than acknowledge the LOVE that you are!

Are You the Apple or the Tree?

I had this insight while I was driving, and posted it on Facebook in May 2017. I was wondering about why and how we are changing. The information that I received came through as a partial image, partial message. I saw an apple tree with an abundance of apples. Some were still hanging from the branches and some had fallen to the ground. I got the sense that the tree was symbolic of Source and we were the apples.

The next image I saw was of the apples on the ground beginning to change. Some were rotting and others were cracking open. I had to sit with that image for a moment before it started to click…

The apples that were cracking open revealed their seeds. The seeds were symbolic of the soul. Once that understanding hit me, the next message was clear – if an apple were to acknowledge its own seed, it would also become aware of its ability to plant its seeds, reconnecting with earth, only to become an expression of the tree! The apple has the potential, inherently, to recognize that it is an expression of the Source it came from. The apple IS the tree, and it will realize itself when it allows itself to CRACK OPEN, look within and do the work of reconnecting to its own Source.

Exactly! And as you can tell, this not only fascinates me, but it excites me. This is exactly why I have dedicated myself to this work and helping YOU realize that you are the apple AND the tree. Are you ready?

How Your Body's Talking

Happy Monday, Alchemist!

Today you will start listening to how your body’s talking, as you learn about Human Design and overall wellness, with Hope Pedraza. Hope started in the wellness space with her studio, inBalance, because she wanted to create a space for women to find everything they were looking for in one convenient location. After running her studio for a bit, Hope realized that the only way to give women the comprehensive experience she wanted them to have in her studios was to complete the wellness equation, and that was to combine exercise with nutrition.

Hope quickly learned as a nutrition coach that basic nutrition coaching wasn’t enough for people. The ladies she was working with were dealing with issues that they were just attributing to the “regular parts of aging” or that just losing some weight or body fat would help, but Hope knew this wasn’t the case. There were women who were dealing with chronic hormonal imbalances, joint pain and stiffness, chronic gut issues, thyroid issues and so many more things that were causing them to feel less than their healthiest selves. This led Hope to pursue a diploma in Holistic Nutrition, as well as complete her certification as an FDNP and other advanced trainings and certifications in blood chemistry.

Trenton Hudson is a cartoonist, entrepreneur, and comedian. Best known for making cartoons as part of The Hudson Brothers, he has worked with the likes of Comedy Central, Showtime, and LOL Network, among others.

Trenton is also an award-winning entrepreneur who founded KORMA, a coffee company that makes coffee from roasted date seeds as a healthy alternative. Truly Create a Life You Love!

Listen, this is not another typical conversation about mindset.
