As we are transitioning into a new season, the first phase of the dark season, we’ll experience the energy of a significant turning point.
How are you changing?
As you may know, I recently hosted a five-day Reiki Retreat in San Diego…and we are all forever changed. It’s impossible to articulate the amount of love that filled our space and how transformative the entire experience was, specific to activation and expansion of heart intelligence.
For all of us, the heart is on the scales. Welcome the beauty and opportunity to create more harmony…it’s Libra season!

Relationships are our greatest teachers and Libra shines a spotlight on these lessons. If you are feeling the airs of romance and in love with life itself, Libra is cheering you on, urging you to dive into the mysteries of love and partnership. The key will be not to lose yourself in the array of butterflies. This sign is also about balance; be sure to pour lots of love into you, not just into other people!
Libra wants to please and interact in loving ways, but you will find yourself annoyed if you feel your generosity is not acknowledged. So, if you are excited about bringing a smile to someone’s face, be sure to check your motivation. If you are doing it to be kind, do it without expectation. If you are doing it for validation or recognition, you may be disappointed.
Being ruled by Venus, this sign is all about the beauty in life, specific to the arts and expressions of love. If you feel disconnected from what brings you joy, or if you are struggling in your relationships, Libra will ask you to look at the scales. What is working for you and where do you feel off balance? To come into a space of harmony, you have to first acknowledge where you stand. Decide what you’re ready to heal and release, then choose where you will place your attention. What you feed energy into is what you nurture and expand in your life. Gratitude for all you DO have will help tip the scales in your favor.
This month is also a good time to consider the expectations you have of your loved ones. If you expect that the world should show up and participate exactly as you do, you’re missing the lessons. We learn in grow in exchange, through our differences. Yes, your intentions may be great, but remember to honor each person for where they choose to stand on their own path. It’s not a personal attack if people do not need or want to do things your way.
Gift From Libra: May you seek peace and harmony in every aspect of your life, seeing the love and beauty in all things, while appreciating the gifts of exchange. May you build loving relationships that feed your mind, nurture your heart and help you to see the Divine reflected in all things your eye shall meet. May you find balance, knowing that the scales will always fall when you are not acknowledging the pinnacle of existence; love.
